The staff were friendly and kind.
My room's main door was hard to lock. The bathroom lacked a lock, I felt unsafe.

convenient stay near gare du nord

train stationhelpful staffroom amenities
the hotel is close to both gare du nord and gare de l'est. the staff at reception was always available and helpful. my room was well-equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, and toiletries.
The hallways were dimly lit at night and the stairs were quite steep. This seemed hazardous.
Dining
9/10
The surrounding streets offer numerous bistros and restaurants. i found a small café just around the corner, it served traditional french pastries. The coffee was also very good and strong, very classic for the area.

totally awesome stay!

convenient locationfriendly staffbustling streetclingy curtain
i really loved how close the hotel was to the train station. it was super convenient to get around. staff was very friendly and there was even a coffee machine available! the bustling street outside gave me a real sense of being in the heart of it all.
the shower room could use some love. getting hot water took forever, and that clingy shower curtain was a bit of a nuisance.
Rooms
8/10
the single room had everything i needed, a comfortable bed and it was really clean. the bathroom, though small, was functional with a shower and toilet. it felt surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area.
Dining
10/10
lots of restaurants, bars and a market surrounded the place. i found some amazing local spots just steps away. i tried a nearby boulangerie for breakfast pastries and a cozy bistro for dinner, both superb.
Location
9/10
The hotel's location was perfect, close to the train station and public transport. Getting around was so easy! even though it was near gare de l'est, i felt really safe. the metro station being so close was definitely a plus.
